LGO Teen Leadership Program Graduation
Congratulations to our teen leaders for completing the 12 week LGO Teen Leadership Program at the San Leandro Boys and Girls Club. It was an incredible 12 weeks where we got to know each other and develop skills that will be instilled in us for the rest of our lives. We accomplished a lot this season such as learning about teamwork, leadership, violence prevention, conflict resolution, entrepreneurship, non-profit and life skills. We went on exciting adventures of the Oakland A's game and the historic Bal Theater which were memorable experiences. Thank you to our guest speakers Quentin Cook, Javid Best, Seth Roberts, Rudy Corpez, Carrie Gutierrez, Kelechi Osemele and Tashell Mitchell for coming out and inspiring our leadership team. Also congrats to Jelah for winning the MacBook Air for her hardwork and leadership throughout out LGO Teen Leadership program!
